Stumbling upon Varsha's Chestnut Home Stylists pop up shop at the On Flea.k flea market in Cochin set path to a very unique and rewarding experience and friendship for the both of us. At that point of time she hadn't styled a home from scratch and I had just returned to India to help my family build a new family home in Alleppey. Having noticed her interesting choice of fabric pairing and beautiful symmetry of colours and patterns, I quickly invited her to help out with the interiors of our 3,000 sq ft home. Working with her was an absolute pleasure as she pays meticulous attention to detail, sets processes in a structured manner and even sent across renders to help visualise the space better. The most fun we had were on our trips to Fort Kochi to source antique furniture for my home which is reminiscent of the past, but contextualised for a contemporary setting. She was quick in connecting vendors that designed custom made lights, block printed curtains and her addition of Chestnut cushions made my home truly unique. At the end of the project, she became a part of our family and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I'd like to specially thank her husband, Rakesh and his architecture firm Studio Acis (Cochin) for supporting her in making my home a reality. Cheers!

I was looking for a competent interior designer and Varsha was recommended to me by a friend . She is friendly , professional ,competent and came up with very creative ideas. She did the styling for my bedrooms and the renovation of my kitchen and a bathroom. At a very early stage she understood my colour and style preferences and tailored the decor accordingly. AGAPE - Our dream comes true. The architecture and interiors of our home were done by Varsha's husband Ar. Rakesh Kakkoth, Studio acis. More than consultants they were friends to us. Varsha and Rakesh were good listeners, and they were able to execute everything as we wanted.
Our rooms wouldn't be adorable without Chestnut designed curtains and fabric selection. The pista shaded curtains in the master bedroom blend well with the wooden flooring. I would say the styling has well complemented her husband's architecture and added that added homeliness to the space. 'Fabulous' is the word I would say for Chestnut Home Stylists."

" Varsha and Chestnut team did a wonderful job for our new home. She was with us from the beginning listening to our idea of a dream home. She was able to understand the kind of people we are and what we needed and was able to bring that to everything from tiles, furniture, sanitary Ware and every small knick-knacks. She and her architect husband Rakesh even helped with some small layout changes which really changed the feel of our home.
I was doubtful initially of certain choices she and my wife made, but I loved them when it finished. Their team of Carpenters even transformed our old furniture and some second sale furniture Varsha procured to beautiful pieces that matchedl with the soul of our new home.
