Indrajith and Poornimas home

Conceived for Indian actress, producer and entrepreneur Poornima Indrajith and her husband, this 6000 sq.ft. residence is a spatial articulation of a culturally rich and creatively driven family.

Articulated with clarity and depth from the outset called for a home that draws from the architectural legacies of Lisbon and Spanish traditions.

The design was to emerge from a central courtyard, forming the heart of the home, and extend outward with a layered vocabulary of Moorish geometry, arches, ornamentation, and Colonial warmth.

The client’s vision demanded not only stylistic references but also a cohesive spatial narrative where texture, proportion, and chromatic depth converge to create a timeless yet distinctly personal environment.

The true test lay not in constraints, but in curating individual tastes into a collective architectural voice an
orchestration of spaces where no room felt left behind. Budget boundaries also demanded thoughtful
prioritization, ensuring every element, though rich in style, was grounded in purpose.
